Samsung Has confirmed the launch date for its latest mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy A54 5G, in India. According to reports, the smartphone will be released on 16 March 2023, with Samsung already creating a microsite for the device on its official website, revealing some of its key features and specifications.
The Galaxy A54 5G boasts a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Exynos 1380 processor built on 5nm technology and offering 5G connectivity. The smartphone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and an IP67 rating. It’s worth noting that the Galaxy A34 5G will not be launched in India alongside the A54 5G.
The Galaxy A54 5G will feature a quad-camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro photographer, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera will be housed in a punch-hole cutout. The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities and will boot on Android 13-based One UI 5.1 software.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy A54 5G at INR 35,000 ($420) in India and will be available in several colors, including Black, Green, Purple, White, and Yellow. Tech enthusiasts and consumers are eagerly anticipating the official launch of the Galaxy A54 5G to see the device’s performance in action.
